I began my career in the hospitality industry, working in large, upscale hotel units for nine years, after completing my studies in Hotel & Tourism Management in Switzerland.
In 1995 I joined the then largest and most exclusive Greek catering company, with an extensive and demanding clientele. I remained with the company for fifteen years, first as a sales representative and later as a Project and Sales Manager. I organized and oversaw a variety of social and corporate events all over Greece, from small-scale events for four; weddings & social events in Athens, the mainland and the Greek islands; parties and launchings; corporate events and exhibitions such as “Posidonia,” the biggest Greek Shipping Exhibition.
In 2010, inspired by my passion to plan and organize events of a high-quality, I started my own business, D-events by Diana Sofianopoulou, equipped with my extensive experience, my excellent knowledge of the field, my rich portfolio of clientele and a vast network of trusted suppliers.
